Speaker 1:Hello, and welcome to VITALITY, a sport project for women, co-funded by the European Union through Erasmus+.
Speaker 2:This short talk is about moving together with other women. It takes about two minutes.
Speaker 1:Being active with other people can give you a feeling of being together.
Speaker 2:It can also make it easier to keep going.
Speaker 1:In the stories in this toolkit, some women talk about the friends they made.
Speaker 2:One of them is Hakime. She is from Afghanistan. UNHCR, the UN refugee agency, wrote about her. At that time, she lived in Norway and went to a swimming class for women.
Speaker 1:She told UNHCR what she liked about it. "I get to talk with the other women, and we have a good time together."
Speaker 2:Svitlana left Ukraine because of the war. She played football with other refugee women in Barcelona.
Speaker 1:The FC Barcelona Foundation shared what she said about it. "I like it because I have made friends and I can talk to them."
Speaker 2:But you do not need a team or a sports club.
Speaker 1:No. You can start with one other woman. Ask a neighbour to walk with you.
Speaker 2:Ask a friend to try the warm-up with you. Or dance together in the kitchen.
Speaker 1:You can also join a group for women. It can meet in person, or online on your phone.
Speaker 2:You decide how much you share. You can also just listen.
Speaker 1:If you join an online group, keep your details private. The toolkit explains how.
Speaker 2:Would you like to start a small group yourself? The facilitator guide, for group leaders, explains how to begin.
Speaker 1:The words of Hakime and Svitlana belong to UNHCR and the FC Barcelona Foundation. They are not covered by this toolkit's licence.
Speaker 2:Thank you for listening. Who could you move with this week?
